Taking Courage on Tuesdays
Taking Courage on Tuesdays
Working with the Planetary Day of Mars
The Lesser (but no less Mighty) Malefic
Mars gets a bad wrap in astrology. ...and mythology too for that matter.
Tapping into Mars it's not hard to see why though. Mars is a planet that's fast, loud, obnoxious, noxious (literally, associated with poison), brutal, violent, vulgar, and bloody.
Things associated with Mars? Blood. Wounds, injuries, and accidents. Battles. Warriors.
Hence, when I think about Mars, I think about defending ourselves against being overcome by our fears.
Tuesdays are the Day of Mars
Tuesdays belong to Mars. Bear taught a class for Synchronicity University a little over a year ago talking about practical ways to work with the planetary days. Now, after three years of devoted daily practice Bear is beginning to share some of his personal practice and the lessons he's learned.
In this video Bear talks about one of the acts of donation (of energy, time, and consideration) and devotion he dedicated to Mars: meditations on The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius.
Listen to a few thoughts on working with Mars to cultivate the courage to overcome imposter syndrome.
